UCLA CHIPS students to showcase their research at the 2024 ECTC Conference through posters and presentations
UCLA CHIPS students attended the 2024 Electronic Components and Technology Conference from May 28-31 at Denver, Colorado.

ECE Alumni Advisory Board Annual Meeting
The ECE Alumni Advisory Board held an annual meeting on May 17, 2024. Faculty provided a comprehensive department overview, satisfying disability guidelines for our new website, upkeep of social media accounts, the progress of our Fast Track Program, and introduction of our new faculty members.
During the meeting, members of the Alumni Board engaged in discussions surrounding key initiatives including student mentoring, alumni recognition efforts, and plans for a distinguished alumni lecture series.
Additionally, representatives from ECE student groups, HKN, IEEE, and WATT, gave a summary of their ongoing projects and workshops. They also discussed alumni mentorships aimed at enriching students’ experience.

ECE Adjunct Professor and Alumni Board member, Dr. Dan M. Goebel, recently published the book Fundamentals of Electric Propulsion 2nd Ed. together with Dr. Ira Katz and Dr. Ioannis G. Mikellides of JPL.
