Dr. Dolecek received her PhD in 2007 in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley and has been a post-doctoral scholar at MIT since then. She also received an M.A. in Statistics, M.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Berkeley. She was awarded the 2007 David J. Sakrison Memorial Prize for the most outstanding doctoral research from EECS at UC Berkeley.
Dolecek's research interests are broad and span information and probability theory, graphical models, combinatorics, statistical algorithms and computational methods with applications to high-performance complex systems for data processing, communication, and storage.
